My books always name themselves. That somehow in the course of writing the poetry what the title should be comes to me. This title was very slow coming to me and I am not sure about it at all.

I started printing these books to have my poems bound together nicely instead of just a collection in a three ring binder somewhere. When I started I never dreamed I would in time become a published poet. And still as I write this I don't believe these books of mine will ever sell.

A collection of some of my poems about my LDS religion that I have wrote over my life.

I am told that I am a philosophical poet. And I suppose that I am in that I want meaning in what I write. I want people to think and feel about m poems and the world Some how to me, this has become a trilogy of books. The first book of life lived, the second of being old and the third of looking to death. These are not over shadowing themes just thought that ran through my mind.

I thought then about what two of the writers I have read said about their writing methods. One of them, Rod McKuen, said that he tried to write a poem every day. The other one, Isaac Asimov, said that he would lock himself in a room with a typewriter for 8 hours a day. This made me think that I set aside time where I had nothing to do but write when I might write more poems. So I start on my breaks and lunches at work to take a pen and noteboo...
